​The blank canvas, while intimidating to many, is to me a powerful space. The potential and freedom it grants the artist is one that speaks to one of our most fundamental abilities as sentient beings - the power of ideation, visualization, & creation. On a blank canvas, whether digital or traditional, there is no limit to what can be created other than that which the artist sets for themself. They are free to create characters, tell stories, or just to make something that looks really, really cool.
